Abolfazl Ahangari is a third-year PhD candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature. He holds a B.A. in English with a focus in literary theory from the University of Mazandaran and an M.A. in English and Comparative Literature from Shiraz University. His research interests include theories of world and comparative literature, translation studies, philology, political and liberation theology, and theories of modernity. Abolfazl’s dissertation explores the question of subjectivity in the postmodern condition from a politico-theological perspective.
