"The Lyricist Wannabe" Screening and Post-Screening Event!

On January 24, 2024, MALCS, The Department of Comparative Literature, and the Hong Kong Studies Programme co-organized a screening and post-screening discussion of “The Lyricist Wannabe” (directed by Norris Wong 黃綺琳) with CEDARS-GE.

The director Norris Wong, the leading cast, Chung Suet Ying, and Prof. Stephen Chu from the Hong Kong Studies Programme joined the post-screening discussion hosted by Dr. Winnie Yee from the Department of Comparative Literature to share their sentiments on lyric writing, pursuit of dreams, and production of the film.
