My Internship at Broadway Cinematheque

My internship at Broadway Cinematheque was an invaluable opportunity and enriching experience. While film theory can often distance art from the commercial film market, my time at Broadway Cinematheque allowed me to actively bridge that divide. I had the privilege of participating in the curation and execution of film festivals, bringing independent and unconventional films into the public domain. Not only did this experience teach me market analysis, it also challenged me to find a critical balance between a film's artistic, commercial, and social values, refining my professional approach to incorporate marginalised works into the cultural landscape.
