Short Reflection on my Internship Experience at Art Basel Hong Kong

I am a young curator exploring the art world, with experience as a curatorial assistant at various film festivals and art institutions. As a current MALCS student, I had the opportunity to intern at Art Basel Hong Kong as part of the VIP Team. My role involved connecting with international VIP clients, planning event itineraries, and ensuring the exhibition ran smoothly.

This unique experience allowed me to step into a multicultural workplace with a global perspective and actively participate in organizing a large-scale, fascinating art fair.

What made it truly special was working alongside passionate colleagues who encouraged me, boosted my confidence, and guided me toward professionalism. Combining the theoretical knowledge I gained at MALCS with hands-on experience at ABHK, I’ve made great strides toward realizing my dream.
