Gavin Tse majored in Comparative Literature and English Studies as an undergraduate, and obtained his M.Phil degree in Comparative Literature at The University of Hong Kong. His Ph.D. (HKU) research focuses on the interrogation and re-negotiation of ‘Chineseness’ in Hong Kong literature and identity vis-à-vis the Sinophone framework.
